In the crypto world, PR has a PR problem.
Crypto is a sector that tends to overpromise and underdeliver. PR is a discipline that feels as old as time. So how do you get an industry building the future excited about an industry that feels stuck in the past?
That’s exactly the problem we set out to help Melrose PR solve. They’re very self-aware about their offering. They know they’re not reinventing the PR wheel. But they are re-envisioning the PR experience. So how do they build a PR brand that’s not so PR-ey?

Yes, Melrose PR gets their clients tier-1 coverage. But in a category that can be tricky to comprehend, making your clients feel heard and understood is the ultimate superpower. The team’s hardworking but approachable aura is pleasant and unexpected. So we wanted to build a brand that captures their magnetism and high-quality work, in unexpected ways.
Harkening back to the bold, soft letterforms of the 70s, the tightly spaced letters in the logo emphasize magnetism and strong relationships. Inspired by contact sheets, team photography feels unfiltered and authentic to highlight the real-people personalities within the team. And merch with language like “Collaboration Maxi” is proof to crypto brands (and bros) that Melrose PR speaks their language.
